This is a lovely practice in all aspects from the front desk staff, especially Katie to the hygienist Jade who is so thorough and knowledgeable and of course Ali who is such a nice person as well as a good dentist, and we all need a good dentist! Ali was recommended to myself by a family member who spoke spoke of Ali's skill, knowledge and commitment.Having been to numerous dentists that concluded extractions and dentures were my only option, I was extremely pleased to discover Ali's approach was to preserve the tooth wherever possible.Ali and his tean have now reconstructed 6 teeth that would have otherwise been extracted. The level of skill, competence and attention to detail with Ali's work are second to none. I am absolutely overjoyed with the results and cannot thank Ali enough for the restorative work he had completed.Ali also has an amazing team around him that provide a highly professional, friendly and polite service. Yesterday I gave Dr Lowri Morris a major challenge in that I had a tooth that had split in half. She spent 2hrs on it to ensure that she did a first class job. She had to drill out old filling and rebuild the tooth. I couldn't be happier with the result and what was even more surprising is that she managed to do all the work without any pain. Mumbles Dental house went above and beyond for me. They helped me figure out an issue that I was feeling borderline helpless about. And no other dentist had explained any of this to me or care enough to take the time. And what's more is that they did this all for me even though I am not a regular patient of the office. This is a practice that truly cares about people, human being, not just profit and that is honestly harder and harder to find these days. I am incredibly grateful for there help and kindness. Ali and his staff at Mumbles Dental House came to my rescue when I lost a crown on holiday in The Mumbles. Fortunately, when the crown came out, I didn't lose it. So Ali was able to fit it and cement it right back on for me during an emergency appointment. A couple weeks later and it's feeling good and no problems. Some of the positives about the experience include an all-in-one emergency services price along with other transparent pricing options. This helped me easily figure out the costs. Ali also offered to help if I had any issues with my travel health insurance and filing the claim. He explained what was going on with the tooth repair in detail — great for me, because I like to know all the specifics of what's going on with any health procedure. Not only was he and his staff quick and efficient and professional, they were also very welcoming and understanding. It's not easy to navigate different health systems while on vacation, but they made it as simple as possible by answering all my questions in a helpful, friendly manner. Lastly -- even the waiting room was pleasant: the music playlist/station was very relaxing (yet sophisticated and modern -- no cliche Muzak here) and the other clients were even super nice. I had a lovely conversation with a woman in the waiting area. All in all, this was the nicest experience it could be, all things considered for a dental emergency. I highly recommend the Mumbles Dental House and would be a regular patient if I lived here. Thank you again, Ali and staff!

I have a dentist phobia,however my experience at Mumbles Dental House was so different to what I expected.My consultation began ,really the minute I walked through the door.I was put to ease immediately by the ambience of calming music ,which definately worked a treat.Ali saw myself and my bestie sitting outside the waiting room and acknowledged us with a friendly smile and a hello.I was spoken to for about my life ,expectations,etc and I must say it was such a pleasing attribute, to make me feel important and that what I feel and want were important.I have the greatest confidence in attending my next appointment ,and I think that Ali has actually conquered a 40 year dentist phobia.I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this dentist ,it was more like a spa retreat than a dentist appointment ,so friendly too

I had a great experience with Dr. Ali. I went for a general check up after not visiting a dentist for a few years and I was a bit stressed. Dr. Ali took the time to explain all procedures that he did and after he took X-rays he made sure we look at them together. He explained the x-rays and answered all of my questions. After not having a great experience with dentists in general Dr. Ali and the rest of the staff were a breath of fresh air.

After no fewer than two NHS dentists gave me bad advice that ultimately led to me losing one molar, I turned to Dr Ali for a second opinion, as I'd seen how much he invests in learning his craft.I'm an anxious patient and the customer service I have received has been exemplary. I'm never rushed, I feel listened to and have had a completely different experience to my NHS filling, which was traumatic.Dr Ali genuinely cares about his patients: I trust him unequivocally and I don't say that lightly. He is a man of integrity and a true expert in his field.He's built a great team: I have also been seeing Jade, as stress meant that my gums were a disaster, and she too is amazing. I've never had such thorough examinations of my gums but following her advice led to me reducing my inflammation from 43% to 4% over a couple of months. No one has ever explained to me how to properly care for my teeth in this way before.The reception staff are also lovely.I had such a good experience with this practice that I travel from London from my treatment; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mumbles Dental House to anyone.

Dr Ali, Jade and the team are amazing. It’s my first experience where my dentist took the time to really understand my situation, habits and needs.They did a very detailed check on my current situation and then discussed a dental plan. After the initial consultation it was clear this was not a normal dental practice - it was on another level I’ve never experienced anywhere else.Their moto seems to be long term rather than quick fixes and this was apparent during the whole course of works they did.They were keen to explain what was happening at every step and it’s obvious they take great pride in their work and explaining things in detail.After this experience I’ll never use another provider again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal service with great value for money considering the attention to detail and service they make.They treat you as an individual.

Ali at Mumbles dental house is absolutely brilliant. I have had several fillings replaced & it is impossible to tell which teeth have fillings & which don’t, the attention to detail is outstanding.More importantly, both of my children are very comfortable going to the dentist. My 13 yr old daughter has had 3 adult teeth extracted as part of her orthodontic plan. I was amazed at how well the extractions went - she was made to feel comfortable & experienced minimal discomfort - all thanks to Ali’s approach. A really good dentist is hard to find & having had negative experiences in the past, worth every single penny.

Mumbles Dental House has improved massively since its takeover.The reception staff are friendly and efficient, and the appointment system has been changed for the better (no more constant changing of appointments) and a confirmation email and text are sent immediately. Big improvements.The reception area is bright and welcoming (love the plants) and - hooray! - it's so much easier to get into the car park outside since someone thought to knock a bit of wall down.My dentist Ali is friendly and welcoming, and has advised and helped me lots already. He is clearly highly skilled, qualified and experienced.He also referred me to a gum specialist hygienist, Jade, who I saw this week. She is super-efficient, thorough and very capable.I really feel I'm in the best hands now at this dental practice. I would highly recommend it.

I have been a patient of the practice for over 15yrs, however have just recently been seen by the new Dental Physician Ali. I was dubious about seeing a new dentist. My fears have now been allayed and I feel that I am In very capable hands. Ali is very dedicated to his work, he explains everything clearly and logically about any dental treatment that I may need. I feel very relaxed and confident with everything he does to ensure that my teeth, and any dental hygiene needs are at its best. Recently I had composite on two of my front teeth as I ‘grind’ them. Ali did an amazing job of making them look ‘normal’ again and I can’t thank him enough, I'm so impressed. I was blown away by the service were received from Dr Ali and his team. We have been really let down by our previous dentist who took no action on our daughter's teeth issues and didn't give any information on what our options were aside from 'keeping an eye on things'. I followed my gut and sought out a second opinion from the team at Mumbles Dental House after they were recommended to me. I am so glad I did. My daughter is neurodivergent and often feels anxiety around dental appointments, but she managed to go through quite an intense procedure feeling completely calm, thanks to Ali and his team making every effort to put her at ease, explain what was happening at each stage and being so patient and gentle with her. Excellent in all aspects. Options were made clear during consultation. This included cost, with no pushing the more expensive choice. Everything was clearly explained. I’m a dentist from Somerset and I attended a fantastic 2-day course last weekend at Mumbles Dental House and hosted by their wonderful team. Such a professional environment but at the same time a fun and relaxed atmosphere which was perfect for the course. We were lucky to get some social time with the Mumbles Dental House team who showed us around their patch of Mumbles, which was amazing!A great and friendly team who clearly know how to look after their patients and run a dental practice. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Hopefully I will return to future courses they run!Thank you Ali, Meg, Duncan and the whole Mumbles Dental Squad!Bryn Thompson

Ali and all of the staff at Mumbles Dental House have been amazing from start to finish. I had Invisalign which completely transformed my smile, I am so happy with the results! I wanted to change something a few months after the treatment had finished and Ali went above and beyond to ensure my smile was perfect and that I was happy. Ali was so passionate about making my results everything I wanted, which I really appreciate. I feel so much more confident with my smile now, I am so glad I had this done. Reception are are always smiley, welcoming and super helpful when I arrive or if I need to call up. My experience from start to finish has been a pleasure, and I would recommend Ali and this dental practice to anyone looking for top quality dental care. Thank you so much!! I recently joined Mumbles Dental House as a new patient, and it was a great decision. The whole team is very friendly and helpful.I received a thorough examination to understand my dental issues and got guidance on how to prevent future dental problems.Before receiving my treatment plan via email, I got a call from one of the team members to talk me through the details and answer all my questions.I used to fear sitting in the dentist's chair, but Dr. Ali's approach to explaining every step of the treatment, showing photos before and after, and checking in during the procedure made the dental experience as pleasant as possible.In conclusion, my experience with Mumbles Dental House has been truly exceptional. I went because I wanted to get a check from Dr. Ali. I had heard a lot of positive feedback, so I had high expectations. All my expectations were met and more!Mumbles Dental House should be Mumbles, Your Dental Home, because that's exactly how you feel when you go there... At home! From the easy-going warm welcome from Duncan, to the amazing warmth, vibe, friendliness and professionalism of Lucy (with the bonus of having an amazing smile) to the extreme calmness, professionalism, AMAZING care and attention to detail of Dr. Ali. Ali saw one of our performance rugby players at extremely short notice. By the time she arrived at the clinic he was scrubbed and ready to see her. As a result he saved her front tooth. Excellent service, friendly, professional and trustworthy. I would highly recommend.

I recently visited Mumbles dental spa for the first time and was very impressed with the whole team. The dentist Ali took time to know me as an individual and was very thorough in his explanation of my treatment. Knowing I have a fear of dentists he was very reassuring, taking his time to ensure I was comfortable with the process and calming me when needed.The practice manager Duncan was very attentive and knowledgeable, giving guidance and tips following my treatment.I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Dr. Ali is a compassionate physician and is exceptional at what he does.My experiences have always been very informative as he takes the time to explain what's going on and exactly how it should be dealt with.He genuinely cares for his patients and has gone above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of.
